Education: B.A. Organizational Communication - Southeastern Louisiana University, M. Ed. College Student Personnel - University of Southern Mississippi, Ed. D. Higher Education (in progress) - University of Mississippi  

Bio: Prior to coming to the University of Mississippi, Will worked at the University of Kentucky in Fraternity and Sorority Life where he advised the Interfraternity Council and worked with leadership programs. Will has also worked as the Director of the Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership Center at Millsaps College and as the Student Activities Manager at the University of Southern Mississippi.  Will earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Southeastern Louisiana University and his master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of Southern Mississippi. Will volunteers with a variety of professional associations, fraternities, and sororities through their educational and leadership programs. In his spare time, Will loves exploring Oxford, New Orleans Saints football, social justice and higher education research and is a proud dog dad to his dog, Atticus.

Graduate assistant edward t. wiggins

Major: MA of Higher Education and Student Personnel

Bio: I am Edward T. Wiggins. Last spring, I graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans. I will be serving as the ASB Graduate Assistant for Cabinet and Programming as I pursue a master's in Higher Education and Student Personnel. In this role, I will work closely with the ASB executive officers and members of Cabinet to develop innovative programming that will engage students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading comic books and baking. I am so excited to work with ASB this year and learn more about the inner workings of student governance at the University and to support ASB members as they work to make ASB accessible for all members of the student body.

Graduate assistant Sophie Cantu

Major: Master of Accountancy

Hometown: San Antonio, Texas

Bio: I am Sophie Cantu and I will be serving as the Finance and Philanthropy Graduate Assistant. In this role, I will assist in the execution of all ASB fundraising programs, assist the ASB Treasurer, Associate Director and Student Union Operations Supervisor in the coordination of student organization funding support through the Student Activity Fee, assist in management of internal finance requests, and assist with the coordination of fall elections. I am from San Antonio, Texas and received my Bachelor of Accountancy with a minor in Spanish from Ole Miss this past year. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Accountancy, with plans to work for KPMG in their State and Local Tax department after graduation. I love all things involving cooking, traveling, Texas, and eating Mexican food!
