The Attorney General is in charge of keeping the ASB Constitution and Code up to date, as well as giving up-to-date interpretation. The AG is also in charge of the Elections Department, which consists of three Deputy Attorney Generals and an Elections Commission.

Department of Justice

The Attorney General is tasked with maintaining and providing interpretations of the ASB Code and Constitution.  Additionally, the Attorney General oversees Fall and Spring elections.  The Department of Justice consists of Deputy Attorney Generals who specialize in various areas including voter turnout and elections.  The Department of Justice also consists of Elections Commissioners who constitute the Elections Review Board, which hears election violations cases.


The Department of Justice is overseen by the Attorney General. The branch consists of the ASB Attorney General, a Deputy Attorney General of Elections, a Deputy Attorney General of the Code and Constitution, and any additional Deputy Attorney Generals deemed necessary by the Attorney General
