ABOUT.
Edward is studying political science with a minor in philosophy, planning to attend law school after graduation. He is a Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College Scholar, pursuing his senior thesis in political science research. For the 2024-2025 academic year, he has served as a Campus At-Large Senator on the Inclusion & Cross-Cultural Engagement Committee, authoring Senate Resolution 24-9 and Senate Proclamation 24-2. When he is not in class, you can most likely find him at his on-campus job at the School of Journalism and New Media, where he works as a front-desk assistant. Furthermore, he is the former President of First-Generation Student Network, where he found joy in supporting and uplifting the voices of students who may feel overlooked. As a Campus Equity & Advocacy Senator, he plans to expand on the work he has already done and ensure all students have the resources and support that they need to successfully graduate from the University of Mississippi and find pride in their true, authentic selves.
