Jalon Hightower

Jalon, a Junior majoring in Political Science with Minors in Journalism, Psychology, and African-American Studies, is a member of the Committee on Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement ICCE). Jalon has served on this committee since November 2023. Jalon is a member of the Honors College Minority Engagement Council, previously serving as Co-Chair of Events and Programming, and the UM NAACP, previously serving as the Chair for Economic Policy. As a member, and newly appointed Chair, for ICCE, Jalon hopes to work within the committee to ensure legislative efficacy and to provide effective representation for all students and RSO’s: especially those who have often been overlooked. This year, Jalon is excited to boost the confidence of ICCE Committee members to ensure that they create positive and effective change within, and outside of, the ASB Senate.
