Mental Health Resources
One of the biggest challenges college students face is the struggle of mental well-being. Though mental health services have improved throughout the years, mental illness social stigma still exists, and barriers are found within services, especially for students with low-income backgrounds.
This mental health resource bank serves as a starting point where students of all backgrounds can find resources on varying topics and issues they may be struggling with. This is by no means an exhaustive list. Our goal was to find as many free or low-cost options as possible. In addition to providing sources that provide therapy or hotlines, our committee has included educational sites as well. Each month there will be sources that are reflective of the months respective awareness.
