ABOUT.
Hey! My name is Roz Smithwick, and I am a junior in the fall. My major is International Studies, with thematics in Government and Politics and a minor in Public Policy. I'm a member of Alpha Delta Pi, and a part of UM Panhellenic as a recruitment counselor this summer. I'm a part of the Legislative Council, and one of two Legislative Monitors. This will be my first term working with senate, and I'm excited. I'm looking forward to having open communication with Senators, Senate Executives, Pro Tempore, and their ongoing legislation. The communication with be displayed by having a weekly updated newsletter that shows the legislation process and by providing quotes. As well, in the newsletter there be a calendar of upcoming events, and anything involving senate. We want to make sure that everyone involved in Senate understands the legislative process, I am looking foward to getting back to school, meeting everyone, and senate!
