Olivia Claire Williford, President
Olivia Claire, originally from Madison, Mississippi, is a senior majoring in Public Policy Leadership with minors in Arabic, International Studies, and Global Security Studies. Outside of her involvement in the Associated Student Body, she is actively engaged in Delta Gamma Fraternity, The Columns Society, Ole Miss Ambassadors, the Trent Lott Leadership Institute, and the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. OC began her ASB journey her freshman year as a Legislative Aide. During her sophomore year, she was elected as a Senator before transitioning to the President’s Cabinet as Principal of Academic Affairs. This past year, she served as the President’s Chief of Staff. Now, OC hopes to continue building on this experience by serving as Student Body President—advocating for and representing the entire student body, while promoting student success and enhancing the overall student experience.
The President of ASB is the primary representative of the student body. The Executive power of the Associated Student Body is vested in the office of the President, and from such posture, the President maintains a final decision in every ASB initiative. As a representative of students, the President is charged with facilitating a working relationship with various other leaders in the campus, local, and national community.
