Adopt-A-Basket

Adopt-a-Basket is an annual food drive that occurs during the Thanksgiving season, as the ASB helps to ensure that everyone in the Ole Miss family has a hearty meal to eat for Thanksgiving dinner. Between 75 to as many as 200 baskets have been donated in years past, and each holiday the ASB hopes to grow that number and spread the joy of a meal to those who are in need.

Creed Week

As students and faculty return to campus after a long summer, the ASB is pleased to host a kick-off week to welcome back the Ole Miss family. This week is focused on connecting students to the University, and members of the ASB and the Administration will be engaging in social activities with the student body throughout the week. It will also show students how to give back to the community and encourage them to take part in a Match Day with the local United Way to find which philanthropy is the best fit for their service. Students will also learn more about the University’s Creed, which serves as a guiding light for interactions with our peers, our work, and the community around us. Many opportunities to get involved with the University will be offered, through organizations on campus as well as the Ole Miss Bucket List. Join us for a week of sharing our appreciation for the student body and the Ole Miss community as a whole!

Everybody’s UM

EVERYBODY’S TENT

Every football season, representatives from the Associated Student Body come together to host a tailgating tent for anyone on our campus. The purpose of Everybody’s Tent is to provide a welcoming, fun environment to students, families, faculty and staff that is not limited to one particular region or group. It follows ASB’s motto of being an inclusive and one Ole Miss. Everybody’s Tent is a great place to make new friends, learn more about ASB and enjoy Ole Miss’s tradition of the Grove.

EVERYBODY'S FORMAL

Everybody's Formal is an event that ASB hosts during Homecoming week to celebrate our Ole Miss family. This event provides an opportunity for all students to experience a formal in a safe and welcoming environment while enjoying food, live music, and refreshments at no cost. Everybody's Formal is a great place to make new friends, meet ASB members, and celebrate Homecoming week.
